About

ETC3 is a for-profit innovation centre that leverages international connections between industry, government and academia. Our centre supports companies with emerging technologies in the healthtech, cleantech, agritech and fintech sectors.

ETC3 was founded in ​2017 by technology entrepreneur Robert Nygren and education entrepreneur Cathy Ju to support their investment projects in Canada and China. In 2018 ETC3 set up its Canadian base in one of its partners 81,000 sf research facility in the south campus of The University of British Columbia. Technology investor Kent Carasquero joined the founding team in 2019.

The ETC3 team has a strong network of strategic partners in North America and Asia, who can drive business development activities and support capital requirements for our member companies.
